Commodity Committees
Commodity Committees exist to provide an exchange of ideas between Unimer suppliers and members meeting regularly in an informal and formal setting to re-appraise product requirements and to review sales opportunities. The Committees each concern themselves with one particular section of the industry and thus can offer a high degree of knowledge and specialisation. Discussions are conducted at a general level, and are not allowed to be specific to any one individual's or company's interest. Therefore the committee meetings do not in any way endanger the confidentiality that has become the hallmark of the organisation.
Buyers Guide
A comprehensive buyers guide produced quarterly and divided into clearly defined sections:-
- Product Index
- Suppliers trading arrangements detailing name, address, products, special requirements and preferential terms over and above the standard.
- Specialist Services Directory highlighting arrangements that have been negotiated to assist both member and supplier to be more cost effective and profitable in an area not directly associated with the main stream of their business.
